Senioritis

I has it.

It's pretty bad too. I'm supposed to finish the Great Gatsby today. I haven't started it. I'm also supposed to be going through an AP World History review book. I should be on page 75 or something. Haven't started it either. I'm keeping up with Math, cuz that's easier for mom to check, but I'm looking at the answers the whole way. Physics is so easy I don't really have to do anything anyway... So the only thing I'm actually doing is reading the AP World textbook and doing my BRCC work...

I got a 4-year $8,000 scholarship to Maryland. Too bad I don't wanna go there. It would still be really expensive. I just want to get a decent scholarship to JMU, so I can "decide" formally and give certain people a reason that's acceptable to them.

I don't blog much. Have you noticed? But now that I'm uber-procrastinating, I'm bored and had a random urge to blog. Still don't count on consistent posts though.

I'm in a weird mood (it's not the good kind of weird, unfortunately). There's an epic battle raging in my mind (okay, it's not really that epic...). So far the logical side is probably ahead a little. The logical side is far more reasonable (go figure), but the faulty reasoning and indecisive side isn't out yet. That side isn't as well formed though. Lots of desperate, obviously incorrect assumptions/excuses. But it's still annoyingly present in there, trying its best to convince. And I'm tuning it out, but it's still putting me in a weird mood. I overthink things WAY too much. Meh, I'll get over it.

Joseph and I beat the story mode of Super Smash Bros Brawl on Intense difficulty last night. A total of 12 or so hours of gameplay. Took us 3 days. Yeah. We're awesome. Now I don't have any games to beat though... maybe I'll be motivated to read Great Gatsby tonight since I won't be hanging out. We'll see.

Okay, that's all for my semi-scattered thoughts. I guess I'll go read AP.

What colleges did you get into? Brawl is a great party game, I still prefer Melee though.

I got into all the ones I applied to. So W&M, JMU, UMD, UNCG, and Penn State. I'm leaning towards William and Mary at this point.

Brawl is awesome. I really like what they did with the story, and other than that it's the same as Melee with more (for the most part cooler) guys. I'm a huge Fire Emblem fan, so the addition of Ike had me really excited.

Props to you for getting into all the colleges you applied to. In fact you should celebrate because I don't know many people who has accomplish this.

William and Mary is a great school, however I hear the weather there sucks. Like super hot weather but hey we're in Virginia we should be use to that. I would visit before making a decision.

However all the schools you applied to are good schools. Have you decided what major you want to pursue?

The only thing I don't like about brawl is that they made all the stronger players, such as Marth, Fox, Falco, a lot weaker. Also they took out all the technical moves such as L cancel, wave dashing, and DIs.

I've visited William and Mary, and it's lookin pretty good. The weather was a little humid, but I'm sure I'd deal. It's better than it being really cold, that's for sure.

I think I'm gonna double major in computer science and music. Not sure yet though. Definitely the comp sci, but maybe just a minor in music.

I didn't know they took out L canceling. I knew wave dashing was gone, but I was never any good at that anyway. What's DI? I probably know, I just don't realize that's what it's called... XD

Quite ambitious of you of doubling majoring, especially two very hard ones! Music is a very time consuming and hard major to complete. good luck with that.

DI is directional influence, it helps you fly shorter then you have to. For instance, if you hit me while I tilt my joystick down I won't fly as far and my character will stay towards the ground. This also applies if you smash me to the right and I tilt my joystick to the left I would not fly as far.

You can still wave dance but that's not that big of a deal.
L canceling is something you don't need as long as you can execute an aerial attack right before you land, so basically you need to short hop and wait the last minute to do an aerial.

yeah, I would go for a BA in music instead of BM though. BM is the notoriously difficult one, but BA is supposed to be pretty manageable for a double major.

Ah, yeah. I knew about that. I'm sure hardcore smash fans will find new techniques specific to brawl too. I don't think nintendo planned on things like the wave dash (though I maybe wrong).
